Card pre-authorisation (Standard Excess): For bookings on Standard Excess, a fixed security amount is pre-authorised/blocked on the driver's credit card for the hire period. The hold is released by your bank after vehicle inspection/close-out; timing depends on the issuing bank.
Maintenance & replacements: Vehicles and equipment may show normal cosmetic wear; any item affecting function is repaired or replaced. We continually cycle gear and tyres to keep everything route-ready.

Route readiness: We match recovery gear and spares to your itinerary, including remote routes such as Kaokoland, Damaraland, Caprivi or Chobe. Share your route so we can prepare the correct setup.
