Itinerary structure
Arrival in Windhoek

Arrive in Windhoek, settle in, meet the Namvic team and prepare for the guided safari. Depending on arrival time, guests may enjoy a relaxed city evening before the route begins.
Windhoek to Sesriem
Accommodation: Sesriem campsite or similar
Leave Windhoek and travel south-west towards the Namib Desert. The drive introduces wide open landscapes, mountain views and the changing colours of Namibia’s interior, with time for Sesriem Canyon if timing allows.
Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and onward to Swakopmund
Accommodation: Swakopmund hotel or guesthouse arrangement
Start early for Sossusvlei and Deadvlei in the best light, then continue across dramatic desert scenery towards the Atlantic coast and Swakopmund.
Swakopmund
Accommodation: Swakopmund hotel or guesthouse arrangement
A full coastal day for rest, cafés, town exploration and optional activities such as Sandwich Harbour, quad biking, sandboarding, scenic flights or marine excursions.
Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe

Travel inland to the dramatic granite peaks of Spitzkoppe for photography, short walks, rock formations, desert views and a memorable evening under clear night skies.
Spitzkoppe to Twyfelfontein
Accommodation: Twyfelfontein / Damaraland accommodation or campsite arrangement
Move deeper into Damaraland towards Twyfelfontein, one of Africa’s important ancient rock-engraving areas, surrounded by rugged rock landscapes.
Twyfelfontein to Huab River Valley
Accommodation: Wild camping near the Huab River Valley
Continue into the remote Huab River Valley, known for dry riverbeds, mountain views, open plains and a quieter wilderness atmosphere away from busy routes.
Huab River Valley
Accommodation: Wild camping near the Huab River Valley
Spend a full day exploring the Huab wilderness. Depending on conditions and wildlife movements, the area may offer opportunities to look for desert-adapted elephants and other desert wildlife.
Huab River Valley to Grootberg
Accommodation: Grootberg Lodge or similar
Travel towards Grootberg and the Damaraland highlands, with mountain passes, escarpment views and a comfortable lodge setting overlooking dramatic valleys.
Grootberg to Etosha National Park
Accommodation: Halali Resort or similar Etosha arrangement
Continue to Etosha National Park and begin game viewing around the park’s open plains, bushveld and waterholes, with possible sightings of elephant, giraffe, zebra, antelope, lion and rhino.
Etosha National Park
Accommodation: Halali Resort or similar Etosha arrangement
A full day dedicated to Etosha game viewing. The route is flexible around sightings, waterholes, gate times and conditions, making the most of the park’s wide open wildlife landscapes.
Etosha East
Accommodation: Emanya@Etosha or similar eastern Etosha lodge arrangement
Continue through Etosha’s eastern side for further wildlife viewing before settling near the eastern gate area for a more relaxed lodge evening.
Etosha / Central North to Divundu
Accommodation: Ngepi Camp Sites
A longer travel day north-east towards Divundu and the Okavango River region, where the landscape changes from dry interior country to greener riverine surroundings.
Divundu and the Okavango River Region
Accommodation: Ngepi Camp Sites
A full day around Divundu and the Okavango River. Optional activities may include a river experience, birdwatching, fishing, Popa Falls or Mahango Game Park depending on timing and arrangements.
Divundu to Otjiwarongo
Accommodation: Frans Indongo Lodge
Turn south-west for the final overnight stop near Otjiwarongo. Frans Indongo Lodge offers a comfortable bush savannah setting after the long variety of desert, mountain, wildlife and river landscapes.
Return to Windhoek / End of Safari
After breakfast, return towards Windhoek. Departure arrangements depend on flight times, onward travel plans or any additional Windhoek nights.
