Itinerary structure
Arrival and Windhoek to Sesriem
Accommodation: Desert Camp
Meet your guide on arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport and travel south towards the Namib Desert, passing mountain landscapes and wide-open desert scenery before arriving near Sesriem.
Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and onward to Swakopmund
Accommodation: Alte Brucke Resort
Start early for Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, then continue through the Namib Desert towards the coastal town of Swakopmund.
Swakopmund free day
Accommodation: Alte Brucke Resort
A relaxed coastal day for cafés, shops and optional activities such as Sandwich Harbour, catamaran cruises, scenic flights or quad biking, with your guide available to assist.
Swakopmund to Twyfelfontein
Accommodation: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge
Leave the coast and travel into Damaraland for Twyfelfontein rock engravings and a Damara Living Museum visit where confirmed in the final programme.
Twyfelfontein to Grootberg
Accommodation: Grootberg Lodge
Continue through spectacular Damaraland scenery towards Grootberg, with possible desert-adapted wildlife and cultural encounters depending on route timing.
Grootberg to Etosha South
Accommodation: Taleni Etosha Village
Travel towards Etosha National Park and settle near Andersson’s Gate for the wildlife stage of the safari.
Full day guided Etosha game viewing

Spend the day exploring Etosha with your guide, visiting waterholes and searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos and plains game.
Etosha South to Greater Windhoek
